webbehave

Proprietary tool developed and maintained by Yuseo’s R&D centre. This non-intrusive application is used to record and analyse user behaviour in real-life browsing conditions, and captures all instances of inter and intra-page navigation. In doing so, it can identify sources of failure and weight these using a statistically reliable sample.

In a “real life” testing situation (at home on their computer), a representative sample of users perform different tasks and express, while browsing, their perception and views on different key features.
  • All of the behavioural data is collected and is then used to measure the reality of the customer itinerary in order to achieve set objectives
  • The actual behaviour observed is compared with the perception and the user experience.
Selection of participants based on a certain number of relevant criteria.

Individuals are invited to take part in the observatory by CIAO Surveys. They fill in a screening questionnaire ahead of time regarding their usual consumption habits, in particular those pertaining to cybermarkets.

Quantitative survey: Web users use and assess the site in real-life conditions.

Yuseo runs a quantitative survey with its non-intrusive proprietary tool, WebBehave. This enables participants selected by CIAO to take part in the survey in conditions that are similar to reality (work place/home).WebBehave saves all actions performed by the users, and analyses their behaviour.

Qualitative survey: makes a finer analysis of certain key points of the assessment.

For a better-quality analysis, the quantitative survey is teamed up with a qualitative survey. This approach makes it possible to better understand certain key points, whose impact on performance and satisfaction was identified during the quantitative phase. This takes the form of an individual interview lasting around 1 hour on Yuseo premises.
