According to the "Profiling" survey  conducted by IPSOS in December 2006, the typical profile of cybermarket customers is:

puce Women (70%).

puce In the upper income bracket (65%).

puce Aged between 25 and 49 (86%)

Well-defined criteria to qualify and select participants

puce 100 % of individuals had consulted a cybermarket site within the last 18 months

puce All individuals were 25 and over

puce A high representation of people from the upper income bracket, with the exception of students and job seekers

puce 85 % of people were located in a geographical area covered to date by the cybermarkets assessed.

To ensure maximum homogeneity, a strict breakdown was made of the sample selected for each site.

Thus, each cybermarket was tested on a mix of its own customers, customers from other cybermarkets and potential customers who had already consulted an online supermarket site within the last 18 months.
